OSWEGO, NY - The RIT men's cross country team enjoyed a strong start to its 2014 season, placing third out of 14 teams on Saturday morning at the SUNY Oswego Cross Country Invitational. Senior Matt Giannino (Syracuse, NY/Christian Brothers Academy) picked right up where he left off last season, winning the race, besting 161 other runners. The Tigers had an outstanding start to the 2014 campaign scoring 82 points, just behind Rochester, who won the meet with 40 points, and second place Cortland, who tallied 41.
