Jones qualifies for NCAA Championship as women's cross country places sixth at Atlantic RegionalPublished by
ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT women's cross country team placed sixth overall out of 40 teams at the 2014 NCAA Atlantic Region Championship, hosted by the University of Rochester and held at nearby Genesee Valley Park on a cool, sunny, Saturday afternoon. That finish equals RIT's best ever at the meet. Sophomore Emma Jones (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) qualified for her first NCAA Championship, placing 14th overall out of 272 runners.
